Human Resources Management

Human Resources Management (HRM) at the UTEM Group is focused on the development of maximum potential and ensuring advancement of every employee, from hiring to the retirement stage, as well as on the creation of a favourable environment within the company for organizing the most effective teamwork.
The HRM processes provide the searching of staff with relevant qualifications, determination of professional, personal, organizational and other qualities of employees, development of their strongest competencies, as well as the creation of an environment in which each employee will have the opportunity to prove oneself in the best way.  
The UTEM Group HRM policy is oriented to the continuous improvement of professional skills and knowledge of the personnel. To that end, all employees undergo trainings, refresher courses, knowledge tests and qualifying evaluation/certification in special types of activities. The training of personnel is carried out mainly through the instruction and refresher courses at the company’s Training Center. The most promising employees are invited to study in the business-schools and higher education institutions to extend their knowledge or obtain additional vocational qualification.
The multidisciplinary and integrated projects performed by the UTEM Group enterprises require specialists of different fields and professions. Their successful implementation is possible only through well coordinated teamwork of employees who have necessary skills, experience and are capable to do their job at a high technical level. That is why many efforts are given to the HRM issues, which include: 

  • provision of working conditions conducive to productive labour;
  • support of a well-defined responsibility allocation system, according to which every employee can fully realize their knowledge and abilities;
  • strengthening of employees' motivation towards the results of their work;
  • compliance with remuneration obligations;
  • professional development;
  • open communication system.

Favourable psychological climate in the company is ensured by the fact that the positions of directors, department and project managers are held by real professionals who know and love their jobs, and hence, have the authority with and respect of the staff.
